Guide

What is a copywriting framework, and does it actually help?

A structure to think inside of — not a fill-in-the-blank template that writes the copy for you.

AIDA in one sentence

Attention, Interest, Desire, Action — a structure for moving a reader from noticing something to acting on it, in that order, without skipping the steps in between.

PAS in one sentence

Problem, Agitate, Solution — name the problem, make it actually felt, then offer the fix. Especially effective when the reader already senses something's wrong but hasn't put words to it yet.

What a framework actually gives you

A structure to organize thinking, not a fill-in-the-blank template. The same framework produces boring copy in one writer's hands and sharp copy in another's — because the actual sentences still have to be written, not assembled.

Common Questions

Before you book a call.

Which framework should I use — AIDA or PAS?+

It depends on the reader. AIDA works well when you're building interest from scratch; PAS works better when the reader already feels a problem and needs to see it named before they'll trust the solution.

Do frameworks work for long-form content, or just ads?+

Both — the structure scales. A blog post can move through the same Problem-Agitate-Solution arc a short ad does, just with more room to breathe.

Can a framework make bad copy good?+

No — it organizes the thinking, not the sentences. The same framework produces boring copy in one writer's hands and sharp copy in another's, because the actual writing still has to be done.
